Responding to the Need was founded by Phumlile Ntshingila, a qualified professional chef and businesswoman, on the ethos of sharing kindness.
RTN has grown into a nationwide NPO delivering community outreach, youth development, health awareness, performing arts, women empowerment, and feeding programs — carrying this mission for over 13 years.
RTN was recognised at the Indigenous Gospel Music Awards (IGMA), winning the Inqaba Yokulinda Award under the Special Award category for an organisation that selflessly gives to communities.
RTN has built partnerships with ABSA, South African Airways, Moses Kotane Hospital, the Johannesburg Children's Home, Orlando Children's Home, Kliptown Youth Program, and Serurubele Events and Projects.
